WORK. PURPOSE. HOPE.

We pay people experiencing homelessness
$20/hour to hold business signs.

It’s not charity.
It’s opportunity.

Handouts don’t restore dignity.
Work does.

Most people experiencing homelessness don’t want a handout. They want purpose. Respect. A chance to earn.

Traditional charity creates dependency. NJS Works creates opportunity.

Every person we serve is someone’s child. Every shift we sponsor is a step toward hope.

In memory of Nancy J. Stewart

NJS Works is named after my mother, Nancy, who passed away in 2007.

She taught me that everyone deserves dignity. That the best help comes with purpose, not pity. That work restores what handouts never can.

This organization exists to honor her memory by giving people experiencing homelessness what she would have given:

A chance to work.
A chance to contribute.
A chance to be seen as valuable.

Every person we serve is someone’s child. Every shift we sponsor is a small step toward hope.

Thank you for being part of this mission.
